The Air King is a homage to the golden age of adventurers in the world of flight and Rolex's involvement in the world of aviation, featuring a 3131 movement resistant to 1000 gauss. The dial has the classical original 1950s era "Air King" text and large minute numerals for easy reading when doing navigational time readings with quarter hour markers in silver.
