In the 1950s, Airain's iconic Type 20 stood as a reliable partner for the ALAT Aviation Service, the airborne division of the French Army. The Airain Type 20 Vert Militaire draws inspiration from the Type 20 Re-Edition, faithfully resembling the original 1950s model. Boasting a hand-wound column wheel chronograph with a flyback feature and a countdown bezel, it stays true to its roots. Its dial showcases the luminous Arabic numerals, hosting a small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock and a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, all safeguarded by a curved Hesalite crystal. The hand-applied beige Super-LumiNova hue meticulously mirrors the luminescent material of the original Type 20, honoring its legacy.
