Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscape

The Blancpain Bathyscape was introduced in 1956 as a more accessible counterpart to the professional Fifty Fathoms, and is named after the ‘Bathyscaphe’ submersible, invented by Swiss physicist and explorer Auguste Piccard. This grade 23 titanium diver features a vertical brushed grey dial, 43mm case with exhibition case-back, and 300m water resistance. 

Powered by the automatic Blancpain 1315 calibre, which uses a glucydur free sprung balance and boasts an impressive 120 hours of power reserve. Circa 2023. This Blancpain Bathyscape ref. 5000-1210-985 comes with box and papers, and is backed by our 24 month Vintage Watch Co warranty.
