Inspired by the Blancpain classic diving watch dating from the 1970s, and interpreted through the lens of the modern 43mm case with 300 meters of water resistance, the Bathyscaphe is a straightforward, modern take on the Fifty Fathoms. Featuring a fumé dial darkens as it reach the edges of the case, and double markers for the hours/5-minute track.
Powered by the automatic Blancpain caliber 1315 DD, coming with extended power reserves of 5 Days, and hairsprings made from antimagnetic silicon.
Circa 2020, this Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Day-Date 70s is in overall mint condition, showing no signs of wearing on the case, the buckle and the leather strap. Comes with full set of Box & Papers, as well as our 24 months Vintage Watch Co warranty.
