Breitling Spatiographe 40mm

This Breitling Spatiographe is a modern iteration of a chronograph watch from Breitling in the 1950’s. It is a pilots watch with more specialised functions than you would normally find on other pilots watches. Breitling is known for including a slide rule on the bezel of their pilots watches. However, this model in particular has a 10 minute counter, which would assist pilots timing instrument approaches or holding patterns. 

Our example features a white dial with large printed Roman numerals, chronograph and 10 minute counter at 9. Beneath the dial is the Breitling 36 automatic movement which was made specially for the Spatiographe. Above the dial is a sapphire crystal which is encased by a bi-directional slide rule with chronograph pushers on the side. This watch is set on a 7 link polished stainless steel bracelet, joined with a folded steel clasp. Our example is in very good condition and is accompanied by 24 month Vintage Watch Co warranty. Circa 2000’s.
