IWC Flieger Chronograph

The term “Flieger” translates from German to “airman” This particular style of watch was born from the requirements listed by the German Luftwaffe. They requested that their pilots had watches with big dials with very legible indices. The most popular supplier was IWC who still produce the Flieger watch to this day, inspired by the vintage design they were originally introduced with during WWII. 

Our example has a 41mm stainless steel case that is joined with a brown leather strap with black leather strap included. The case houses a matte black dial with applied white Arabic numerals with chronograph seconds at 9, chronograph minutes at 12 and chronograph hours at 6. Chronograph is activated by 2 pushers on right hand side. Watch has an automatic movement and is accompanied with original box and papers along with 24 month warranty from Vintage Watch Co. Circa 2008.
