Many IWC enthusiasts consider the Mark XV to be the last of the true pilots watches. From here IWC revamped the look of the watch to be closer to the Big Pilot in terms of dial and hand design. The trouble for purists is that the mark series begins with the 11 of 1948 and the Big Pilot is from an earlier era and based on the B-Uhr watches used by the Luftwaffe in World War 2. This Mark XV is in very good condition other than a little bit of speckling on the hands. It has just returned from our workshop and is sold with our 12 month warranty and its original box and warranty card.
