Omega Flightmaster

Omega Flightmaster 910 in stainless steel. Matte grey dial with brown sub-dials for 24 hour indicator at 9, 12 hour counter at 6 and 30 minute counter at 3. Manual wind calibre 910. 43mm case with domed mineral glass. Pushers for controlling the chronograph features at 2 and 4 and crowns on the left hand side to turn the internal bezel and set the blue, second timezone hand. Steel Omega signed bracelet.

Extending the success of its professional series of watches, Omega introduced the Flightmaster in the late 1960s. Combining the timing capabilities of the Speedmaster with a second timezone function produced a watch for pilots who needed to keep track of time in both their home base and destination. The Flightmaster also went to space on the wrists of Russian Cosmonauts during the Apollo/Soyuz missions of the early 70s. This example is in good condition with a patinated dial and has just returned from a full service at our workshop. Sold with our 12 month warranty.
