Omega Speedmaster 1957 Reissue

Omega Speedmaster 1957 reissue in steel. Grey dial with printed luminous markers. Manual wind movement. 42 mm case with domed Hesalite. Set on a steel bracelet with folded steel clasp with Omega logo.

In 1997 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Speedmaster and to mark the introduction of the 1861 movement Omega released this special watch. The dial, hands and bezel bear close resemblance to the 1957 original while the case comes from the regular production Speedmaster Professional of the era. These watches were only produced for a short period of time and represent a first attempt by Omega to produce a heritage Speedmaster. Until recent years they have flown under the radar for many Omega collectors but interest is starting to stir and prices are on the up. This example is in very good condition with box and our 12 month warranty. Circa 2000.
