Omega Speedmaster Professional

Omega first produced the Speedmaster Professional with display back in around 1980. Initially only fitted to limited edition pieces they later expanded the range to include regular production models. From around 1987 to 2003 the Speedmaster featured a Hesalite (plexiglass) front with a sapphire window in the caseback to view the movement.

Our watch is an interesting transitional model from circa 1998 featuring an upgraded 1863 rhodium plated movement and Superluminova markers on the dial. Shortly after this watch was made the Hesalite version was discontinued and replaced with the "Sapphire Sandwich" which continued in production all the way through to 2019 when the new 3861 Moonwatch was released. Freshly serviced at our workshop and sold with our 24 month warranty and its original Omega warranty card and swing tag.
