For sale today is the Panerai Radiomir 10 Day GMT Aspen circa 2015. This exclusive Panerai Radimir is one of only ten in the world and comes in at an impressive 47mm case size.
The watch is powered by the Panerai automatic in-house calibre P.2003. This movement features 25 jewels, the patented Glucydur balance assembly, the patented KIF Parechoc anti-shock device and beats at 28,800 alternations an hour. The movement features an impressive and noteworthy 240 hours or 10 day power reserve. The watch also features a total of 281 components and a “seconds reset device” which resets the small seconds hand to 0 when the crown is fully extended to assist in time-setting.
The watch itself as mentioned is 47mm and is entirely constructed of AISI 316L stainless steel. Our Panerai is in excellent condition with minor scratches and comes with an official Panerai Aspen-coloured scamosciato leather strap and a Panerai tang buckle. The dial is black with luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers. The date is at 3 o’clock, a 24 hour display at 9 o’clock and the linear power reserve scale at 6 o’clock. The watch is water resistant to 100m (10 bar).
This particular watch was released to celebrate the opening of a boutique in the Aspen Snow-mass Ski Resort in Snowmass Village, Colorado and was one of only 10. Panerai the brand has been around since 1860 and is as full and rich with history as many of the other major brands around today.
