Patek Calatrava 3718 Steel

The Patek 3718 was introduced in 1989 in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Patek Philippe. It was made exclusively for the Japanese market. It was available with either ivory or slate grey dial. We are looking at a fine example of the Ivory Dial toady. It is said that no more than 500 pieces were produced. The porportions of the Calatrava are perfectly balanced. 33mm diameter actually wear quite alright on wrist. Slender and restrained, a rare instance of a stainless steel case from Patek Philippe, the watch is an undoubtedly vintage-inspired creation.
