Here we have a watch for the seven seas: the RM60-01. Built in Grade 5 Titanium through and through from the baseplate and bridges in the movement, to the screws on the case. The brand only made 20 examples of this Sylvester Stallone-inspired watch.
As a nautical navigation watch with nautical complication, it comes in the form of a UTC hand and rotating bezel with compass, a unique three-dimensional rotating bezel which shows the cardinal points and enables sailors to find their direction without a compass. Purely based on the knowledge of local time and the position of the sun.
At the core of the RM 60-01 is the Caliber RMAC2. A 50-hour power reserve automatic winding movement boasts multi complicated functions including hours, minutes, running seconds at 3 o’clock, oversize date, month, annual calendar, flyback chronograph with central seconds counter and 60-minute countdown timer at 9 o’clock, 24-hour totaliser at 6 o’clock, UTC function and variable-geometry rotor.
The watch featuring a variably oscillating rotor exclusive to Richard Mille. It uses variable geometry to optimise the rotor’s winding motion.The rotor's inertia can be customised to suit different scenarios wether you are competing fiercely at America's Cup or relaxing on the deck of your yacht watching the sunset. And to increase timekeeping accuracy and lessen the effects of shock on the mechanics, the RM 60-01 features a free-sprung balance wheel.
John Rambo said in the First Blood: "To survive a war, you gotta become war." At neatly 24 millimeters thick, the RM 60-01 is no trembling flower. It's a watch, a compass, and it just ticks a lot of desired boxes.
Our fine example is originally purchased back in 2018, still in an Excellent condition with the papers and an extra rubber band in bright orange. Missing the orginal box, but we are including a huge Richard Mille watch winder with the watch. Backed with our 24-month warranty.
