Rolex Datejust 1603 'Wide Boy' Rare B&P

Rolex Datejust in stainless steel with engine turned bezel. Silver dial with applied "Wide Boy" baton markers and date at 3 O’clock. This Rolex stainless steel 36mm case  has a slimmer profile than the modern Rolex models and has a great vintage feel. The watch features its correct Rolex plexiglass and screw down crown still water proof to 100 Meters. This Rolex version  uses the famous automatic calibre 1570 movement known for its accuracy and robustness. The Watch is set on a period correct Rolex  "Jubilee"  bracelet in stainless steel in very good condition with little stretch.  Our rating of very good condition for a 50 year old watch is a rarity in itself and importantly it is accompanied by its original Rolex box and original Rolex chronometer certificate, along with 24 month Vintage Watch Co warranty. 

This 1603 was named the 'Wide Boy' due to the batons and hands on the dial being deeper and wider than those on other Datejust models. made for a few years only it is additional rarity among the highly collectable early Date-Just models.
