The Rolex Datejust on its own is a classic piece, an iconic, timeless watch, favoured by many. This example in particular is a special example of the iconic model, featuring a rare dial known as a blue “Vignette” dial. Each Vignette dial made, although they look the same, are slightly unique in their own way, due to the way they are crafted.
This piece is adorned with diamond markers, sitting inside a 18ct yellow gold bezel. Beneath the dial, this Datejust is powered by a calibre 2135 automatic movement which is housed inside a 26mm stainless steel case. This piece set on a two tone 18ct yellow gold and stainless steel Jubilee bracelet, joined with a folded steel clasp. It should be noted that this bracelet has very little stretch for its age and the watch is in overall, very good condition, accompanied by 24 month Vintage Watch Co warranty. Circa 1989.
