Rolex Datejust in stainless steel and yellow gold. Champagne dial with applied baton markers and date at 3. Automatic 3135 movement. 36mm case with sapphire crystal and screw down crown. Steel and gold Jubilee bracelet with folded steel clasp. This watch comes in very good condition with warranty card, swing tag and 24 month Vintage Watch Co warranty. Circa 1992. 

The Datejust is famously one of Rolex’s longest running models. Introduced in 1945, it is undoubtedly one of the most iconic time pieces from the 20th century. What makes it so iconic, even to this day, was the advances in horology that were introduced with the Datejust. The timepiece was unveiled as the first watch in the world with a date window that automatically changed over at midnight. Although we now take this for granted, the innovation paved the way for future innovations and at the time, made the wristwatch even more appealing than before.
