9ct Gold case made by a British case manufacture called Dennison Watch Case Company. Inscribed Anchor town mark of the Birmingham Assay Office; stamped with Dennison's registered sponsor's mark A·L·D stands for “Aaron Lufkin Dennison” who is also the founder of the company, X date stamp for 1922-1923.
Powered by a high grade 17 jewelled Rolex manual wind movement adjusted to 3 positions with a high grade regulator. This watch is now 100 years old, a real antique and ready for another 100 years of faithful service.
