This 116618LB Rolex Submariner, finished in solid 18ct yellow gold, is from the last year of production before being discontinued in 2020. This Submariner is a very rare piece and we don’t expect it to be here for long.
Our example features a royal blue dial with applied ‘Chromalight’ markers and date display at 3. Beneath the dial is Rolex’s superlative chronometer calibre 3135 automatic movement. This movement was used in the Submariner from 1988, all the way to 2020, making a very dependable, robust movement. The watch case measures 40mm in diameter and is anointed with a blue ceramic bezel which encircles a sapphire crystal. On the side of the case, the watch features a Triplock crown which allows this timepiece to travel to 300m deep below the water. This piece is set on a solid 18ct yellow gold oyster bracelet, joined with a machined clasp with Glidelock extension.
This Rolex Submariner is in very good condition and is accompanied by its original Rolex box, instruction booklet, both swing tags warranty card which still holds the balance of Rolex 5 year international warranty. Circa 2020.
